Looking at the Chanel 2014 ResortCollection gives me travel fever! I can just imagine jet setting around the world, taking in the breathtaking scenery, enjoying different types of food and drink, being immersed in the culture … all while wearing the most stylish clothes.

There is so much about this Fendi Tote Bag that tickles my fancy! I can’t stop making up reasons why I should have it. Why I NEED to have it. Everything about this handbag screams functional luxury and timeless elegance. The contrasting colour combination couldn’t be any more perfect; and don’t even get me started on the tone on tone stripes! If you look closer the texture is delightful; and the little details such as the monogrammed gold buckles and branded padlock…well, those are little pieces of heaven.
It’s possible that I’m having a love affair this with Fendi Multi Textured Tote! What about you?

Yes, you read that right, The World’s First Luxury Shop Drive-Thru! Are you surprised? My initial reaction was along the lines of “Dah, why hasn’t anyone thought of this until now?” – but then again, many people probably have thought of at least a similar idea, but didn’t act on it. Also, hindsight always wins, right? Enough rambling, let’s get to the nitty-gritty!
London will be home to the world’s very first shop drive-thru. Come January 2014, Selfridges will give its shoppers the ability to purchase their high-end goods online, and then pick them up at the Drive-Thru.
How it works:
1. Select which luxury items you can’t live without
1. Order them online via your computer, tablet or mobile device
2. Choose the ‘click-and-collect‘ option
3. Drive over to Selfridges’ Oxford Street location [behind it on Edwards Mews] to pick up your purchase at the drive-thru
From designer shoes to the latest “it” bag,Selfridges will be making all of their products available online (with the exception of perishable food). Currently, shoppers at Selfridges have the ability to order online and pick up their purchase at the store the following day. With this new high end drive-thru innovation, customers can collect their order without ever having to leave the comfort of their car! I’m left wondering how long the line ups will be! According to Simon Forster, the company’s multi-channel director, ‘It will not just be the first drive-thru service, it will be the best.’

Yesterday I was wandering the city; enjoying the fresh spring breeze, the sun on my face, and the beautiful flowers in bloom. During my wanders, I had an instant urge to update my spring wardrobe with more “pretty” looks. This ss13 Erdem collection is just the type of feminine look I have in mind. Great silhouettes, paired with textiles that speak for themselves!
The texture of the textiles in this Erdem collection makes my mouth water; the colour palette puts me at ease; and the combination of various fabrics and colours rolled up into one look excites me!

Ummmm. How AMAZING are these Charlotte Olympia scent bottle clutches? They are pure genius; the ultimate conversation starter; the definition of luxury, as pretty as all get out! Here it is, my first style post. Up until now, I’v been reluctant to post pictures of myself on Haute because I usually only see the parts I don’t like. “My hair is funny” “I look too big” “I’m making a weird face” “I don’t like my arms” “ew, is that what I really look like?” I’m sure many of you do the same thing – and it’s not okay. It seems as though spring has finally arrived – so it’s time to say “adios” to winter boots. As much as I love them, I’m ready to embrace sandals, flats, wedges and sexy peep toe pumps!
About a year ago I took a short course on sewing leather, and this clutch was my creation! It’s perfect for the days I don’t have much to carry around, or in the evenings with a cocktail dress.

In my books, stripes are a classic; though, you can thank your lucky stars because they are one of the seasons hottest trends. This spring there are endless amounts of striped clothing to choose from, and all at different price points. Play around with it; have fun; think nautical!!
Five Must Have Striped Items This Spring:
1. A striped hat – a hat is essential to protect the skin, so why not make it fun! It’s an easy way incorporate the trend without having to go all in.
2. A striped dress – slip it on and voila, you’re ready to go. Easy as 1,2,3. Since the stripes are so bold, you want to opt for a simple silhouette, as it will give a more refined look.
3. A striped one-piece swimsuit – when it comes to bathing suits, one pieces are classy and sexy! Adding stripes to the look takes it from “nice suit” to “NICE suit!”
4. A pair of striped shoes – wedges by day, pumps by night; adding a pop of the latest trend in terms of footwear always ups an outfits wow factor.
5. A striped bag – a clutch, hobo, cross body, tote or backpack; the choice is yours. Add stripes into the mix and you have an instant stylish winner.
