Hello lovelies! My name is Victoria Simpson and welcome to Haute – my fashion blog! Let me give you an idea of the person behind the screen.
I am a Toronto based fashion designer, a communication and image consultant, and (of course) a fashion blogger. I must warn you – I am also a dreamer mixed entrepreneur; which means my brain is constantly coming up with a gazillion amazing ideas, and I like to believe that I can accomplish them all (and I swear to you that if I had all the time and money in the world I would do just that, and it would be amazing!). What does this mean for you? Well…simply, that although most of my posts are about fashion, I will stray off topic once and awhile. It also means that I cannot help but post about all types of fashion – from haute couture to affordable ready to wear; from the most glamorous evening dress to your everyday jeans; from famous designers to up-and-coming designers; from…well, you get the point!
While following my blog, there are a number of additional facts about me that you will discover very quickly…such as: My eyes are drawn to all things puffy and all things sparkly. I am a huge romantic and I definitely won’t hide it. I love everything glamorous; and anything luxurious will almost always attract my attention. I have this indescribable infatuation for both handbags and evening gowns – some say it’s unhealthy, but I totally disagree!!! I get inspired by almost anything, and I love love love fashion!

I didn’t randomly stumble upon your blog but I came by with a mission to properly check you out (not in a creepy way but in a truly one-fashionist-to-another way). I’ve been referred to this blog by a relative of yours – think of the most whacked one of them all and you will know which Shelsen I’m referring to. Long story short, loved everything I read today and will be coming by loads to read more in the future. You have some beautiful pictures and smart blurbs here and this has been a highlight of my day while I sit at my desk and pretened to work on some discounted cash flow models.. or something like that.

We have been Facebook friends for awhile, and both went to Waterloo! Every once in awhile your posts would catch my eye on Facebook….but today I stopped by and read a bunch of them, and I just want to say – awesome blog!
You have a great eye for fashion, and I found so many things making me want to pull out my wallet! :) I’m looking to start my own blog – I work in retail in Toronto and want to connect the working world, with fashion and being a new mom. I’m definitely going to follow your blog, hopefully you can follow me when I’m up and running.
